If you already sell in LINE, you have probably heard of LINE MyShop and wondered whether to use it, or whether to have your own shop website instead. The short answer: they do different jobs. LINE MyShop is a shop inside LINE’s system. Your own shop website is a website that belongs to you, with your name and your brand.

This guide explains what LINE MyShop is, what it does well, and how it differs from having your own website, so you can choose what fits your shop.

Information about LINE MyShop is based on LINE for Business pages as of October 2026. Fees and conditions can change, so check with LINE before you decide.

What is LINE MyShop?

LINE MyShop is LINE’s selling tool, linked to a shop’s LINE Official Account (LINE OA). Customers choose products, order and pay inside LINE’s system, and the shop manages products and orders through its LINE OA.

What you need and should know:

  • A LINE Official Account for the shop, from which you open MyShop.
  • Opening is free, but some features need a paid LINE OA package.
  • Two ways to get paid: customers pay through MyShop’s own payment system (PromptPay QR, mobile banking, LINE Pay or cash on delivery), or transfer straight to the shop’s bank account.
  • Messages to customers, such as promotional broadcasts, use your LINE OA message quota, and the free package has a limited number each month.

What LINE MyShop costs

When customers pay through MyShop’s payment system, the shop pays a 3% payment fee on the order amount, plus VAT: 3.21% in total. New shops get 0% in their first month, and money reaches the shop after the order is marked as shipped, on the payout cycle you chose.

A simple example: 30,000 baht a month paid through the system costs about 963 baht a month in fees.

If customers transfer straight to your bank account instead, there is no fee for that part, but you check the payments yourself.

What LINE MyShop does well

To be fair, MyShop has real strengths.

  • It lives where the chat is. Customers who already follow your LINE OA can order without leaving LINE.
  • Marketing tools inside LINE, such as coupons, promotions and messages to groups of customers.
  • Built-in payments through several channels, including cards via LINE Pay and cash on delivery.

If most of your customers already follow your LINE OA and you sell mainly through broadcasts, MyShop is a sensible choice.

A shop inside LINE vs a website of your own

The most important difference isn’t a feature. It is who the shop belongs to.

A LINE MyShop shop lives inside LINE’s system. The shop link is a LINE link, the shop looks the way LINE designs it, and it runs by the platform’s rules. If LINE changes its fees, conditions or features, your shop changes with them.

Your own shop website is a real website with your shop name in the link. It opens in any browser and can be shared anywhere: LINE, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or printed as a QR code at the counter. Your shop and product pages can also be found on Google.

Customers remember a shop by its name. A link with your shop’s name in it, such as baanbean.tellsell.app or baanbean.com, tells customers this is the real shop, not one of thousands on a platform.

Your own domain also pays off over time:

  • Easy to remember and type. It spreads by word of mouth, and fits on a bag or a business card.
  • More trust. New customers are more willing to pay a shop that has its own website.
  • It stays yours. The domain belongs to the shop, not to any single platform.

On Tellsell every shop gets a yourshop.tellsell.app link from the Free plan, and can use its own domain on Business and Pro.

A busy shop, with AI to help

Most shop owners aren’t short of features. They are short of time. The biggest time sink is adding products: writing names and descriptions, choosing categories and sizes, one by one.

Tellsell lets you do this in the LINE chat you already have open every day. Send a photo, then say or type the name and price, and AI writes the name, description, category, options and an English version (Business and Pro). You check the preview and tap Publish once. Nothing goes live until you do.

The rest of the shop runs from the same chat: sold out, a new price, today’s orders, or Undo when you get something wrong. Things that belong behind a password, such as payment settings, live in the web dashboard. See what AI can do in AI online store.

Can you use both?

Yes. Many shops use a LINE OA to chat with customers and send promotions, with a link to their own website where customers browse and buy. That gives you both the closeness of chat and a brand of your own.

Which should you choose?

  • LINE MyShop if almost all your customers already follow your LINE OA and you sell mainly through broadcasts.
  • Your own shop website if you want the shop to be your brand, with your name in the link, no percentage taken from your sales, and AI to cut the work of adding products.
  • Both, if you want both.

To try a shop website of your own, open a shop on Tellsell for free: no LINE OA, no card, run from the personal LINE you already use. Or read Selling on Shopee or your own shop website.
