Plenty of shops already sell through chat. A customer asks the price, you send a photo, they transfer the money. It works, but everything ends up scattered: product photos get buried in old chats, new customers can’t see what you sell, and you answer the same questions every day.
A shop of your own fixes that. Customers open one link, see everything you sell, add it to a cart and pay on their own. This guide walks you through opening a shop with Tellsell, step by step. If you have everything ready, it takes about five minutes.
Get three things ready
- One product photo. Taken on your phone is fine, as long as it is bright and the product is clear.
- A name and a price, such as “Iced latte, 65 baht a glass”.
- Your shop’s PromptPay: the phone number or tax ID your PromptPay is registered to, or a QR image from your banking app.
No logo yet? You can still open the shop. It shows your shop name instead until you add one.
Step 1: Sign up and name your shop
Go to app.tellsell.app and sign up with your LINE account in one tap, with no password to remember. Email works too.
Every new shop starts on the Free plan, with no card: a real shop that takes real orders. Upgrade whenever you are ready.
Then pick your shop name. It becomes your shop link, for example baanbean.tellsell.app, and the shop is online within seconds.
Tips for the link name:
- Keep it short, so people can type it after hearing it once.
- Use English letters. Thai letters in a link often turn into a long string of codes when it is shared.
- Stay close to a name your customers already know, like your shop sign or your page name.
Step 2: Add Tellsell as a friend in LINE
Your dashboard shows a Tellsell QR code. Scan it with LINE and add it as a friend. There is no new app to install, and you don’t need a LINE Official Account of your own.
- Signed up with LINE? Your shop is linked the moment you add the friend.
- Signed up with email? Tap Link my shop in the welcome message. It takes you to the dashboard, where you are already logged in, to confirm. No codes to type.
Once you are linked, a six-button menu appears at the bottom of the chat: Add product, Orders, Edit product, Shop info, Undo and Help.
Step 3: Set up payments and delivery
Enter your PromptPay phone number or tax ID in the dashboard. Buyers then get a QR code with the order amount already filled in, and the money goes straight to your account. If all you have is a QR image from your banking app, upload that instead; buyers will type the amount themselves.
Payment settings can only be changed on the web, on purpose. They decide whose account your customers’ money goes to, so they belong behind a login, not in a chat that anyone holding your phone could type into.
On the same page, choose how buyers get their order: pickup at the shop, delivery for one flat fee, or both.
Step 4: Send your first product in LINE
This is the quickest part. Tap Add product, send the photo, then type or record the name and price. Thai, English or a mix all work:
Iced latte, 65 baht a glass, can be made less sweet

The AI reads the photo and your words and drafts a name, description and category. It writes only what it can see in the photo or what you told it, and never adds facts of its own. If something is missing, such as the price, it asks you one question with buttons to tap.
You then see a preview. To change it, just reply, for example “shorter” or “price 70”, and the preview updates. When you are happy, tap Publish. The product is live straight away and the link comes back to you in the chat.
Changed your mind after publishing? Tap Undo in the menu to go back. On the Free plan, Undo reaches back 3 days.
Step 5: Share your shop link
Your shop is ready to sell. Open the link on your own phone once to see what buyers see, then share it:
- Send it to regular customers in chat, or post it in your shop’s LINE group.
- Add it to your shop’s social media profiles.
- Print it as a QR code for the counter, or tuck it into parcels.
After that: fill in the rest, bit by bit
You don’t have to do everything on day one. Add these when you have a moment:
- Shop info. Tap Shop info in the menu and tell it your opening hours, address, phone number and the LINE account customers can message.
- Logo and banner. Send the photos in LINE. They are cropped to fit both computer and phone screens.
- Shop colours. Pick a theme in the dashboard.
When an order comes in, you get an email every time, and you can see it under Orders in LINE. The buyer scans the QR, pays and attaches a slip. Before you tap Paid, always open your banking app and check the money really arrived. A slip is a reference, not proof of payment.
Start with your best seller
Your first shop doesn’t need to be perfect. Start with the one product customers ask about most, share the link, and add the next one from the same chat you already use every day. If you’d like to try it at no cost, see what the Tellsell Free plan includes.
