Unpaid orders

Some buyers place an order and never pay. Such orders hold stock, so Tellsell cancels them when time runs out.

Time to pay

• By default, an order with no slip after 24 hours is cancelled (your shop can change the hours on the account pages).
• The check runs every hour, so an order may be cancelled up to an hour after its time.
• Its stock goes back to your shop.
• Buyers who gave an email get one saying the order was cancelled because it wasn’t paid in time.
• The buyer’s order status page shows the time to pay by.

Orders with a slip never expire

Once the buyer attached a slip, the order is never cancelled by itself, even after the time, because the buyer may have paid. You get a reminder email once a day until you tap Paid or Cancel.

Tip

One phone number can have at most 3 unpaid orders at a time in a shop, so nobody can hold all your stock with fake orders.

Note

On the Free plan, every order placed counts toward the month’s orders, except ones cancelled without a slip (such as expired ones). See the Free plan.
