Cards and wallets with Payso

Coming later

Today Tellsell takes payment by PromptPay QR, and you confirm each payment yourself in your banking app. Card and wallet payments will come later through Payso, a Thai payment provider. This page explains what is planned, so you know what to expect. There is nothing to set up yet.

What you have today

What is planned

Payments are added in this order:

Step	Payment	How payment is confirmed
Now	PromptPay QR with the amount, or your QR image	By you, by hand
Add-on	Slip check	The slip is checked against the bank automatically
Next	Payso: cards and wallets	Automatically, as soon as the buyer has paid
Later	Stripe	Automatically; mainly for cards from abroad

With Payso, a paid order would move to Paid by itself: no slip to check, no tap needed. You would still tap Shipped or Picked up when you hand the order over.

Your own merchant account

Payso (and later Stripe) will work with your shop’s own merchant account:

you open the merchant account with Payso yourself, in your shop’s name;
buyers’ money goes straight to your account, never through Tellsell;
Payso’s fees are between you and Payso;
your shop’s Payso keys are stored encrypted and used only for your shop.

Tellsell never holds buyers’ money. That keeps your money in your hands, and keeps Tellsell out of the rules that apply to companies collecting payments for others.

Until then

Keep using PromptPay QR; Tellsell charges nothing per payment.
Always check your banking app before tapping Paid: a slip is a screenshot, not proof.
Buyers who ask to pay by card can be told that card payments are coming.
