Delivery and pickup
Tellsell keeps delivery simple on purpose: pickup at the shop, delivery for one flat fee, or both, plus an optional free delivery from an amount. You set these once on the account pages; the buyer picks one at checkout, and you hand the order over from LINE.
The options
Section titled “The options”| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup | The buyer collects the order at your shop. Always free. | On |
| Delivery | You send the order to the buyer’s address for one flat fee. | Off |
| Delivery fee | The fee for every delivery order, whatever the size or place. Can be ฿0. | ฿0 |
| Free delivery from | When the products in the order add up to this amount or more, delivery costs ฿0. Optional. | Not set |
| Unpaid-order timeout | How long an order waits for payment before it is cancelled and its stock returns. | 24 hours |
At least one of pickup or delivery must be on. With both off, the checkout page says “This shop does not take online orders yet. Please contact the shop directly.”
Set it up
Section titled “Set it up”-
Log in at app.tellsell.app and open your shop’s delivery settings.
-
Switch on Pickup, Delivery, or both.
-
For delivery, enter the delivery fee in baht, for example 50.
-
If you want, enter a free delivery from amount, for example 500.
-
Save, then open your shop’s checkout to see what buyers see.
How the fee is worked out
Section titled “How the fee is worked out”- Pickup is always ฿0.
- Delivery costs your flat fee.
- If you set free delivery from, delivery costs ฿0 when the products in the order add up to that amount or more. The delivery fee itself is not part of that sum.
Example with a ฿50 delivery fee and free delivery from ฿500:
| Products in the order | Buyer chooses | Delivery | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| ฿320 | Delivery | ฿50 | ฿370 |
| ฿499 | Delivery | ฿50 | ฿549 |
| ฿500 | Delivery | ฿0 | ฿500 |
| ฿320 | Pickup | ฿0 | ฿320 |
The fee is always worked out again on the server when the order is placed, so the buyer pays exactly what the order page shows.
What the buyer sees at checkout
Section titled “What the buyer sees at checkout”Under How to receive it (รับสินค้าอย่างไร) the buyer sees the options you offer:
- Pick up at the shop (รับเองที่ร้าน)
- Delivery · ฿50 (จัดส่ง · ฿50), with the hint “Free delivery from ฿500” (ส่งฟรีเมื่อซื้อครบ ฿500) when you set one. With a ฿0 fee it reads Delivery · Free (จัดส่ง · ฟรี).
Choosing delivery opens the Delivery address (ที่อยู่จัดส่ง) field, which is then required. The totals show a Delivery (ค่าจัดส่ง) line.
What is not supported
Section titled “What is not supported”There are no delivery zones, weight-based fees, per-product fees or carrier choices. If you only deliver to some areas, say so in your About text (for example “We deliver in Bangkok only”) and contact buyers outside it before you tap Paid.
Handing over the order in LINE
Section titled “Handing over the order in LINE”Once an order is Paid, its card under Orders shows the next button:
| Order | Button | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery | Shipped | The bot asks for a tracking number. Type it, or tap No tracking. |
| Pickup | Picked up | The order is marked handed over at once. |
The tracking number can be 6 to 40 letters, digits or dashes, and must be sent within 10 minutes of tapping Shipped. Anything else you type is treated as a normal message.
The buyer’s order page changes to Shipped and shows the Tracking number. If they gave an email, they get “Order shipped” with the number, or “Order handed over” for pickup.
